Writing a Narrative Essay For College
Writing a Narrative Essay For CollegeWhen first reading an example of a narrative essay for college, I sometimes struggled with the whole concept. The fact that the writer is trying to tell a story and in so doing, making use of every tool at their disposal. They often offer a vivid description or take you inside the mind of the protagonist. For me, writing a story, or an essay in a different language are too different from the rest of my English course. I often feel as if I am applying for some kind of certification for writing, which can only be given by a teacher who has taken a lot of classes and learned a lot of things.Often, this can leave you feeling lost when it comes to writing a college essay in English, because you don't know how to approach the professor and your English class with different ideas. Perhaps this will help you a little bit.First, you need to write a short poem, whether you plan to submit it or not. It can be a short piece that you find in a magazine or copy somewhere, or it can be a poem that you have crafted yourself. Just be sure to set aside time for it. You may want to write the poem in a quiet place or even read it aloud over a candle. In your college essay, you should use the work of others to support your points. Your students will more than likely expect this, and you may find yourself being criticized for plagiarism. That can go both ways, and that is why it is so important to make sure you research first. You should also practice your 'independent thinking skills'. If you have never heard of the term, it is a way of expressing how you may analyze situations independently of others. Itis just a way of using your creativity to think about things without all the help of other people.Hopefully, this example of a narrative essay for college will help you put things into perspective. Whether you are writing your own short story or taking on a college essay, the idea is to enjoy yourself and let your imagination come to life. Keep it fun and try not to try too hard.
